Taking place on Wednesday 23rd September at Brodsworth Community Woodland near Doncaster, the event has been organised for those involved in children´s play to experience the benefits of play in the natural environment. Workshop themes include Playful Schools, Let´s all Play Outdoors, Cob Den Building and Playwork as a Career.
The environmentally friendly event has a nature play theme which is precisely the reason that Timberplay will be exhibiting. As one of the UK´s pioneers of natural play, Timberplay will be demonstrating their product range with experienced staff on hand to handle all queries.
In particular, Timberplay will be championing the requirements of Playbuilder, Pathfinder, demonstrating recent case studies and with testimonies from customers that have benefited from this funding. They will be showcasing a range of products that meet the Playbuilder, Pathfinder requirements, that challenge children and encourage them to take risks during their play. Products involving sand and water play can be interwoven with the natural landscape to stimulate a child´s senses and demonstrate that well thought out play design is a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Commenting upon the Play England event, Martyn Scholey, Marketing Manager at Timberplay says, “It is important for Timberplay to attend the Play England event because the theme will be natural play, something which is at the heart of our organisation and has been for over 8 years. It is important that we meet as many people involved in making decisions on children´s play to demonstrate our vast product range and also our unique way of working with landscape designers.
In addition, we want people to see some of the fantastic play areas we have worked on as a result of the Pathfinder, Playbuilder funding, so people can see what can be achieved within children´s play.”
