Riverside Gardens, Greenwich Wharf

Designed to appeal to the young professional, the developers wanted to include some play provision for the very young children so worked with renowned landscape architects LUC to create a toddler play area of distinction. Although small, the play area includes select products chosen to deliver maximum play value for the under-fives. The eye catching and colourful Big Fish is irresistible for smaller children who can clamber or crawl up the ramp to get onto the kit, and then slide down the wide slide. The fact that the Big Fish has a ramp rather than steps means it can readily be used by children who are not yet walking. A Wobble Dish always delights and a set of sound cushions and wind pipes provide acoustic fun.
Rosie Cockcroft, Landscape Architect at LUC comments:-
“Timberplay are one of our preferred suppliers for all of our play developments as they offer such a varied range of equipment. This means that even when dealing with play areas for younger children we can be sure to find equipment that offers something out of the ordinary. With this area we have selected items that offer a variety of play experiences and aesthetically they sit very well within the development and the landscaping.”
