How we make our play equipment

We explain the process of creating our play equipment.

Unlike many of our competitors, we use whole round timbers, the natural shape of the tree. This means the wood is not sawn, milled or glued. This way we do not over process the timber or create unnecessary wastage.

However, the consequence of this ‘close to nature´ style of production is the formation of cracks as the humidity in the wood reduces. As wood is a natural, non homogenous material, the size of the cracks as individual as the wood itself. Also, as a rule, the cracks do not reflect on the safety of our equipment.
